202. Valparaiso Tour & Nature Walk

Booking & Contact

Valparaiso has the ability to constantly surprise you. Declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO, this port city is as labyrinth of streets and alleys that wind their ways up the hills, uncountable stairs, old wooden cable cars and houses full of colour and amazing architecture.
The starting point of our walk and the fascinating history of this town that easily captivates the imagination will be a cable car ride to the heart of the historic quarter. Our route will then take us up & down streets and along different promenades and alleys to really get the feel of the Valparaiso character, shaped over time by the people and events that somehow come together at the different stages of its development.
The "El Peral" cable car will take us down to the port area, where we will meet our transport and drive to the neighbourhood of the Plaza Victoria, an area which has played a key role in the "porteño" traditions since colonial times. From here we will take the route to Viña del Mar to discover the hidden treasures of the National Botanic Garden.During our walk we will see both native and exotic plants, enjoy their beauty and learn about their origins, uses and fascinating legends.
